As a fintech product company, our customer base had traditionally been banks and financial institutions. That largely shaped our brand identity and influenced our product design - especially the UI/UX. However, as our product line evolved and we found ourselves venturing into the B2C space, our branding and design approach also had to evolve.
In early 2020, as we prepared for the launch of finPOS (www.finPOS.global), we were faced with the challenge of curating our brand for a totally different audience. We had to ensure that our brand identity represented the fresh, modern, yet ever evolving nature of the payments business. To guide us through this brand migration process, we immediately consulted Curves n’ Colors and worked on an engagement model where we would leverage their strengths in design, UI & UX and combine that with Citytech’s expertise in payments.
The end result was a highly curated brand with a fresh and minimalist look that furthered the brand’s promise. Its colors resonated with the modern customer base while the clean and minimalist look gave a sense of security and reliability expected in any fintech platform. CnC’s design team very quickly became an integral part of the product team and we continued to use them as our go-to brand consultants. Today they take part in our regular development process and work closely with the product teams to ensure on time deliveries of features to the market. I am extremely pleased with the professionalism and sense of accountability shown by the CnC team. We have chosen CnC as our branding partner so that we can focus on our core business of developing innovative payment solutions.
