Presenting to you the redesigned and developed website for Siddhartha Art Gallery. The prestigious gallery is a household name in the Nepali art scene and also a prominent representation of Nepal in the global arena for art.

Siddhartha Art Gallery, was established in September 1987, by Ms. Sangeeta Thapa, an avid art patron, and an internationally recognized artist, Shashikala Tiwari; as a contemporary art space and meeting point for national and international artists. The gallery relocated to Baber Mahal Revisited in 1997. Since its inception, the gallery has organized more than 500 exhibitions featuring multiple artists and also organized workshops in ceramics and printmaking, and has conducted lectures by visiting artists.

Standing true to its legacy, the gallery works to activate art as the catalyst for socio-cultural and political discourse and constantly acknowledges the impact art has on national and international perceptions.

The website design is very clean and that is ideal in this case as the focus is immediately grabbed by the art projects on display. The website highlights the 34 years long history of the Art Gallery. It also features an online exhibit that showcases art projects by three artists: Neera Joshi Pradhan, Kabi Raj Lama, and Jerome Edou. There is also an easy access section on the website for visitors to find out about upcoming and past exhibitions at the Gallery. Through the website, you can also book a show at the gallery itself and host events at the venue. For details, check here.
